Equipment Installation & Maintenance
Installation and Maintenance Projects
D-S-P worked with MTC, Motorola, and ERG Transit systems on the largest smart card contract in United States, which began in 1999; and facilitated the Motorola and ERG alliance to design, build, operate and maintain the TransLink® Fare Payment System in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While on the TransLink® Fare Payment System project, D S P provided project management and implementation of the MUNI, Phase I, bus equipment prototypes and installs of the following equipment: driver consoles (DCs), card interface device (CIDs), cabling/wiring, brackets, etc.; which included installation of DCs and CID 1B with mounting brackets for attachment to the vertical handrail; an additional CID 1B, (for articulated buses) with a mounting pole and base; and all cable/wire and required hardware to complete the installation. In addition, we created, wrote and edited all Contract Data Requirements List Documents (CDRLs) (including the CDRLs for the BART CID 3 Gate Adaptation Kit & ADU, single direction & reversible gates), and Design Review documents (DRs), designed and created graphic renderings, and flowcharts.
